DMS Students Win 2nd Place
FBLA Middle Level Marketing Challenge
On March 16, 2022, Dinwiddie Middle School 6th graders Lauren Williams and Ramaya Everette participated in the Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) Marketing Challenge competition at the Middle Level. They competed and took second place at the state level and are now qualified for the competition at the FBLA National Conference.
In this competition, students had to create a new product or service that, to their knowledge, does not currently exist. The product had to be realistic. The challenge was to develop a marketing mix strategy for this product and present their plan using the five Ps of Marketing: Product, Price, Place, Promotion, and People. Miss Williams and Miss Everette created the TEEN MACHINE, a technology based vending machine geared to teens only. Ramaya and Lauren are the first Dinwiddie Middle School (DMS) FBLA members to qualify for this opportunity!
We congratulate the young ladies on a job well done and wish them the best of luck at the FBLA National Conference!
